Terms of use
The terms on which this website is made available — and, just as importantly, the line between what a marketing page says and what a club's agreement actually promises.
Who you are dealing with
greenlinkgolf.co.za is published by GreenLink. GreenLink is the trading name of a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Andrew Els. It is not a registered company and carries no registration number. Andrew Els is personally responsible for the business and is the person you reach on the contact details below.
These terms govern your use of this website. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.
What this site is
This is a marketing site. It describes the GreenLink platform and lets a club ask for a demonstration. The tee sheet, till, marshal and reporting screens shown on the page are working replicas built for the page itself: they are there so the claims beside them can be clicked rather than taken on trust.
Those replicas run entirely in your browser and hold invented data — the clubs, players, prices and figures in them are not real, and no live club's information appears on this page. Nothing you do in a replica changes anything anywhere.
What the site is not
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment to supply. Prices, features and timelines described here are indicative and may change. What GreenLink will actually deliver to a club, at what price and to what service level, is fixed in a written agreement with that club and nowhere else.
Where this site and a signed agreement disagree, the agreement governs — in every case, and without exception.
Using the site properly
You may read this site, and you may send a genuine demonstration request. You may not:
- submit an enquiry that is false, automated, or on behalf of someone who has not asked you to;
- attempt to gain access to any system, account or data behind this site;
- probe, scan or load-test the site or the systems it talks to;
- copy the site's content or design for a competing offering.
The enquiry form is rate-limited and monitored for abuse. We may refuse or discard a submission that appears to be automated.
Ownership of the content
The GreenLink name, the crest, the wording of this site, its design and the code of the replicas belong to GreenLink. You may quote a short passage with attribution. You may not reproduce the site or a substantial part of it, and you may not use the name or the crest in a way that suggests an endorsement or a partnership that does not exist.
Availability
This site is offered as it stands and as it is available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice. A service commitment for the GreenLink platform, where one exists, lives in a club's agreement and not here.
Liability
We take reasonable care that what is published here is accurate, but the site is informational. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, arising from your use of this website or from reliance on anything published on it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.
Personal information
Personal information you send through this site is handled as set out in the privacy policy, and the specific notice for a demonstration request is the POPIA processing notice. Both form part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The current version is always the one published here, with its effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the amended terms.
